What is this map about?

Why was this map created?

What is incomplete, omitted or inaccurate?

"Persian Gulf" and "Arabian Gulf" are disputed names for the body of water between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula ("Iran Censures Google Earth," Tehran Times, 2007). A map that shows only one of these names is espousing a political point of view. Image courtesy of Google Maps.
